초록 Introductions:Depression is the top 13 disease burden, has a high recurrence rate, and is a major factor in suicide. Antidepressants, considered as a priority treatment for depression, have many side effects and are highly non-compliant and there are are many patients with treatment-resistant depression. Therefore, many studies have been conducted on other treatments such as herbal medicine. Lespedeza cuneata is a plant with various effects, but the effect on depression has not been studied yet. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the ef-fect of Lespedeza cuneata G. Don in an astrocyte reduced mouse model of de-pression through L-alpha aminoadipic acid (L-AAA) injection. Methods:The main components of Lespedeza cuneata were confirmed through ultra-high performance liquid chromatography. Depression model mice were made by injecting L-AAA into the prefrontal cortex. The mice were transplanted a guide cannula after an adaptation period of 1 week, and L-AAA was injected one week later. Lespedeza cuneata at doses of 300 mg/kg and 600 mg/kg, and distilled water were orally administrated to mice for 16 days. After L-AAA injection, we conducted open field test (OFT), tail suspension test (TST) and forced swimming test (FST). The day after TST, mice were sacrificed to re-move brain...

불면증 변증도구 신뢰도와 타당도 평가 및 심리검사와의 상관성에 대한 초기연구
초록 Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reliability and validity of the instrument on pattern identification for insomnia (PIT-Insomnia) and verify the correlation between PIT-Insomnia and psychological tests. Methods: Two evaluators examined the pattern identification of the participants who met insomnia disorder diagnostic criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) and took the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score over 15 once manually and twice using the PIT-Insomnia to measure the inter-rater and test-retest reliability. We also conducted the following surveys: the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), the Korean version of Beck’s depression inventory (K-BDI), the Korean version of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-K), the Korean Symptom check-list-95 (KSCL-95), and the EuroQol-5 dimension (EQ-5D), to measure concurrent validity and correla-tion between the PTI-Insomnia and psychological tests. Results:1. The test-retest reliability analysis of the pattern identification results showed moderate agreement, and test-retest reliability analysis of each pattern identification score showed agreements from poor to moderate. 2. The inter-rater reliability analysis of the pattern identification results via manual showed slight agreement, when analysis was performed with calibration, the inter-rater reli-ability analysis of the pattern identification results via manual showed fair agreement. 3. The...

만성구속스트레스 동물모델에 대한 JG02의 항우울 효과
초록 Objectives: As a general emotion, everyone can temporarily experience depression, but depressive disorder is a disease that excessively affects daily life.Among the various causes of depression, the deficiency of monoamine-based neurotransmitters such as serotonin and epinephrine are considered significant. Thus, antidepressants that target monoamines are used frequently. However, side effects such as nausea, vomiting, insomnia, anxiety, and sexual dysfunction are observed. Thus, it is necessary to develop a new therapeutic agent with fewer side effects. In this study, we investigated the antidepressant effect of JG02, used to treat depression by normalizing the flow of qi (氣) in Korean medicine. Methods: C57BL/6 mice were selected and randomly divided into six groups: normal, control, amitriptyline, and JG02 (50, 125, 250 ㎎/㎏), respectively.Except for normal, depression was induced by applying restraint stress at the same time for six hours daily for 14 consecutive days. Saline, amitriptyline or JG02 sampleswere orally administered two hours before applying the stress. After that, a forced swimming test and an open field test were performed. Additionally, serumcorticosterone, serotonin mRNA, BDNF mRNA, and protein in the hippocampal region were measured and compared. Results: JG02 decreased immobility time rate in the FST and increased the zone transition number and travel distance...
