초록 Objectives: The purpose of this research is to examine effects of acupuncture treatment on the auto-nomicnervous systems of Hwa-byung patients with insomnia. Methods: The study was performed througha patient-assessor blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial in which the volunteers, data collectors, and analysts were unaware of which individuals were re-ceiving the treatment. A total of thirty-sevenvolunteers were divided into 2 groups. Eighteen subjects were placed into a trial group and 19 subjectsinto a control group using a randomization table. The trial group was treated with bilateral Shigu, Ahnmyun,B62 (Shinmaek), and K6 (Chohae), while the control group was not given any other treatment. The ISI (Insomnia Severity Scale) was measured as the first evaluative instrument, and then a comparativeanalysis was conducted by comparing the re-sults with those measured by ANS (BVP/HR, respiration rate, peripheral temperature, skin con-ductance, EMG).Results: In the BVP/HR, statistically significant decreases werefound in those from the trial group compared to those of the control group. Skin conductance was found to besignificantly increased in the trial group, as compared to the control group. However, there were no significantdifferences be-tween the groups with respect to peripheral temperature, respiration rate, and EMG.Conclusions:The results suggest that acupuncture treatment is effective in the treatment of hwa-by-ung patients...

비알코올성 지방간 세포 모델에서 소분청음의 지방증 완화 효능 연구
초록 Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the anti-lipogenic effect of Sobuncheong-eum on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in free fatty acid induced cellular model. Methods : HepG2 cells were treated with palmitate for 24h to overload intracellular triglyceride (TG) content in the presence or absence of Sobuncheong-eum extract. After palmitate treatment, Intracellular TG content was measured with TG assay kit. Several lipogenesis related markers, including AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK),sterol regulatory element-binding transcription factor-1c (SREBP-1c), acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC), and fatty acid synthase (FAS), were assessed using Western-blot analyses and RT-PCR. Results : Palmitate markedly increased intracellular TG in HepG2 cells, and which were alleviated by coadministered Sobuncheong-eum extract.Sobuncheong-eum extract activated AMPK, which plays a key role in reducing hepatic lipid accumulation, and reduced lipogenic fators, SREBP-1c, ACC, and FAS. Conclusions : Taken together, it is conceivable that Sobuncheong-eum has an potential to alleviate steatosis, and which may be mediated by activating AMPK at least in part.[원문 보기]
